Road users heading to and from Needham Market over the next two weeks will find several road closures as Suffolk Highways and utility companies work in the area.

The road from Blakenham to Needham Market – the B1113 – has been closed from Thursday until the weekend but is due to reopen by Sunday.

Coddenham Road from Needham Market to the A14 will be closed from Tuesday until the following Monday while Suffolk Highways and UK Power Networks do work in the area, and the Barking Road will be closed from Monday, March 19, for five days.

Roadworks caused by gas company Cadent will close Bramford Road, Blakenham, between March 19 and March 27 – but this should not close the main road between Claydon and Needham Market over the level crossing.

Details of the works can be found here – which also shows suggested diversion routes.
