One woman has been injured in a crash in Santon Downham
Police, ambulance crews and firefighters were called to the Thetford Road in Santon Downham just before 1pm this afternoon amid reports of a crash.
A Peugeot 309 had been involved in a collision which left it resting on its roof blocking the road in both directions.
Fire engines from Brandon and Mildenhall were sent to the scene as well as a rescue appliance from Thetford, the casualty had to be released from the vehicle by firefighters and she has been taken to West Suffolk Hospital with a head injury.
The road has now been cleared.
