A MAN suffered a potentially serious head injury after a collision involving a car and a bicycle.
The ambulance crews arrived at the scene in Heath Road, Sapiston, near Bury St Edmunds, at 12.32pm.
On arrival they attended to two men, both believed to be in their 60s.
An ambulance service spokesperson said: “We transported one patient with a head injury which is not thought to be life threatening, to West Suffolk General Hospital for further treatment.
“The other injured party suffered damage to his elbow and was treated at the roadside.”
