Firefighters have extinguished a car blaze, which it is believed also caused a grass verge to set alight, in Saxmundham.
Fire crews from Leiston and Aldeburgh were sent to the scene, on the A12 near the Aldeburgh turn, at about 2.15pm today.
The call was initially for a car fire but when firefighters arrived, they discovered about 30 metres of the grass verge was also on fire.
Three hose reels and two sets of breathing apparatus were used by the firefighters as they extinguished the fire at about 2.45pm.
