A SCHOOL was evacuated for the third time within a week today after another chemical leak.
Fire crews were called to Great Bentley Primary School just before 10am after the smell of ammonium sulfide was reported.
Pupils were evacuated from the building by the time the fire crew from Weeley arrived.
After 30 minutes it was reported there was no longer any sign of the smell and after an hour the crew announced there was no need for further action.
The school suffered two suspected chemical leaks last Monday with pupils evacuated on both occasions.
Four members of staff were given hospital treatment after last week's incidents.
Parents were sent text alerts from the school today asking them to come and collect their children.
