ROADS were sealed off in London today amid a security alert near Aldgate tube station.
The area was cordoned off leading to major traffic jams in the area. People were also evacuated from buildings as a precaution
A small car with its tailgate open could be seen near Aldgate station, the site of one of the 7/7 underground explosions.
The security alert comes just three days after a bomb scare involving a vehicle in New York’s Times Square.
A man is currently under arrest in connection with the US incident after being detained when boarding a flight from John F Kennedy airport to Dubai.
