A WOMAN has been helped after her car left the road and crashed into a electricity pole after losing control on an icy road.
The accident happened at about 1.25pm in Watson’s Hill in Semer, near Hadleigh.
Only one vehicle was involved in the accident and the female driver was assessed at the scene by firefighters but was not seriously injured.
Firefighters worked to make the crash site safe and called in police to deal with the icy road conditions.
EDF Energy were also called in to repair the pole, which was left with exposed wires.
