Motorists experienced serious delays out of Ipswich after a double decker bus broke down coming off the Orwell Bridge.
Police closed lane one of the Orwell Bridge, heading eastbound on the A14, after it became blocked by a broken down double decker bus.
Motorists travelling during the rush hour experienced serious delays as the road was congested as far back as Copdock.
Police also reported a broken down vehicle further back in the queue.
The lane was reopened at 6.03pm.
