THE first Shotley Peninsular derby of the Flare Recruitment Premier League season ended in celebrations for the hosts.
Shotley Rose overcame local rivals Holbrook Swan 3 - 0 – but the scoreline was not a fair reflection on a much tighter game.
Swan will get their chance to reap revenge on Rose in the return fixture in January.
