POLICE last night charged a man with the murder of his father.
Steven Harvey, 43, is accused of killing his father Russell Harvey, 73, at their home in Rubens Road, Ipswich on Sunday.
He will appear before magistrates in Ipswich this morning.
Mr Harvey, a widower and father-of-four, died in Ipswich Hospital after suffering stab wounds at his home.
Police were called to the house at about 2.40am on Sunday and arrested Harvey at the scene.
Last night, a spokesman for Suffolk police confirmed he had been charged with murder.
