A Suffolk run programme to help young people become the leaders of tomorrow has been given a financial boost.

The Football Futures programme run by Suffolk FA Youth Council was set up last season to help the development of young leaders by young people.

The project has been sponsored by Richard and Jenny Bugg of R Bugg Trading Ltd. The pair were so impressed with the development shown by the young leaders that they have increased their sponsorship contribution for this season.

Two of the young leaders - Chay Hathway and Jourdan Kiwomya - have recently been accepted on 12 month apprenticeships with the FA as a result of the scheme. Richard Bugg said: “We are pleased to sponsor Suffolk FA Futures as we are delighted to see the progress youngsters make as individuals whilst working in the scheme. It is not just the football it is the skills and discipline they develop as young people.”
