Staff at Colchester General Hospital celebrated International Nurses Day with a fundraising event.
The day, which marks Florence Nightingale’s birth, was commemorated yesterday with a cake sale and tombola in outpatients in aid of the Colchester Hospital Charity.
As well as the fundraising stall a number of nursing staff took part in a conference at the Weston Homes Community Stadium launching Caring With Pride, the hospital trust’s nursing and midwifery strategy for the next three years.
