INVESTIGATIONS are today underway after a suspicious car fire in Ipswich.
Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service were alerted to the blaze at about 11.45pm yesterday and two crews from Princes Street station attended at the scene in Hawk Road.
When they arrived they discovered a silver BMW well alight. Crews extinguished the flames bringing the incident under control within 10 minutes.
The fire is being treated as suspicious and the car is believed to have been stolen.
