Officers want to talk with the owner of a car after a suspicious fire started.
Fire crews were called to Debenham Road, Stonham Aspal, after reports of a car fire just before 1.30am today.
A pump from Debenham arrived at around 1.40am to find the silver Ford Focus well alight. They used two hosereels to extinguish the blaze.
A police spokesman confirmed detectives were treating the fire as suspicious and asked for the owner of the vehicle to come forward.
Anyone with information should call police on 101.
