A 24-hour charity bounceathon has raised nearly £1,000 for Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY).

The bounceathon, at Mid Suffolk Leisure Centre in Stowmarket, was organised in memory of Lily Webster, who died aged 15 from sudden adult death syndrome. She used to attend trampolining classes in the centre. It raised £950.

Philipa Das, Everyone Active’s trampolining coach at Mid Suffolk Leisure Centre and organiser of the event, said: “It was brilliant, better than I could have ever expected.

“We had people going all through the night, with all four trampolines in use.

“We’re really pleased with how it went. Thank you to everyone who came and bounced, and donated.”
