People have raised issues affecting them in Stowmarket at an event with the chief constable of Suffolk police.
Yesterday, Chief Constable Douglas Paxton met with the public at a mobile police station in Market Place as part of ‘Chief on Tour’. He said: “We heard some very positive feedback about our officers today and also listened to people’s concerns over such issues such as speeding and illegal parking in the town which we were able to give advice on.”
He said officers gave practical examples of how the police are responding to these issues.
