A house fire involving an electrical meter and electrics arcing was attended by Suffolk Fire Service and UK Power Networks this morning.
Officers were called at 4.57am to the detached, two-storey property in Fox Court.
After fighting the blaze for almost two hours, the fire service declared it was extinguished at 6.48am.
UK Power Networks are repairing the damage to underground cables.
A spokeswoman said: “This work will be completed as quickly and as safely as possible. No other power supplies were affected by this incident.”
