A CHIMNEY fire sparked an emergency alert from firefighters this evening.
A crew from Stowmarket went to the blaze in Poplar Hill, Combs Ford, at 5.50pm last night.
Firefighters used a thermal imaging camera, stirrup pump and chimney rods to battle the blaze at the mid-terraced property.
