Large stones were thrown at shop windows in an attack that has been linked with a spate of criminal damage in Stowmarket.

The first floor window of a charity shop in Ipswich Street and two of another shop nearby were smashed in the attack, which happened between 5.45pm on Tuesday and 8am the following morning.

The rear window of another charity shop was cracked sometime between 5.45pm and 8.30pm on Wednesday, April 30.

Police are linking these incidents to a spate of damage that occurred between Thursday, April 24 and the following day, where windows and fencing was damaged on properties in Ipswich Street and Marriotts Way.
