A FAMILY of snow sculptors who created an effigy of Humpty Dumpty, a snow owl and a penguin in their front garden have won our competition.

Philip Frost and daughters Abbie, 16, and 12-year-old Katelyn, got to work soon after the heavy snowfall last month, building a wall for Humpty to sit on, as well as crafting the snowy creatures.

Their garden was soon transformed, much to the amazement of neighbours.

And Mr Frost, 49, sent in photos of their handiwork via iwitness24, our user-led site, after we sent out a call for entries into our snowman competition, run in association with Hammond Land Rover.

The carpenter, of Willow Close, Stradbroke, said: “It is something we always do when it snows, we have done lots over the years.

“I thought the owl was impressive but Humpty Dumpty was quite good too.”

The family won a £25 voucher to spend at their favourite High Street store.
