AN overturned Land Rover and caravan have caused chaos for drivers on the northbound A12 this evening.
The contents of the caravan were left strewn across the carriageway at Stratford St Mary near junction 29 following the accident at just before 6pm.
By 10pm the carriageway had been closed to allow the scene to be recovered.
A police spokesman said officers had been guiding traffic around the debris until the lack of light prompted the need to close the carriageway and put a diversion in place.
There were no serious injuries reported and the road is expected top be reopened by midnight.
