The stretch of the A12 near the Suffolk/Essex border
A woman is in hospital after a six-vehicle crash on the A12 on the Suffolk/Essex border.
Police and paramedics were called to reports of the accident on the dual carriageway near Stratford St Mary at around 12.30pm today.
A woman, thought to be in her 30s, suffered injuries not believed to be life-threatening and was taken to Ipswich Hospital for further treatment, an East of England Ambulance Service spokesman said.
No other injuries were reported at the scene of the crash which partially blocked the southbound carriageway.
The road had fully reopened by 3pm.
