A MAN in his 60s is in hospital following a two-vehicle crash in which a Porsche hit a tree.

The incident happened in Upper Street, Stratford St Mary, just after 2.45pm.

A police spokesman said: “A Porsche went into a tree and a Peugeot 307 went into the back of the Porsche.

“A man in his 60s suffered minor injuries and was taken to Colchester General hospital for precautionary measures.”

The spokesman added it is believed the driver of the Peugeot 307 did not require treatment.

The Porsche was later removed from the scene.
