ACRES of stubble were alight in a field in Levington.
Crews from Felixstowe and Colchester Road in Ipswich attended the scene off the old A45 road and railway track at Levington at 3.40pm.
They used hose reel jets to try and extinguish the flames, which spread across ten acres of land.
The incident is currently ongoing.
