FIREFIGHTERS rescued a one-year-old child locked in a house today.

Fire crews were called to the property on Beatty Road, Sudbury after a parent of the child reported the one-year-old had locked themselves inside the house at 8.24am.

Fire crews released the infant at 8.45am.
