The death of a man in his 40s whose body was found at his home in Sudbury on Monday is no longer being treated as suspicious, police have confirmed.
Officers were called to a flat in Lucas Road at about 10.30am following a report from the ambulance service that a body had been found inside.
A post-mortem was carried out yesterday and further tests are needed before the cause of death is established, however police have now announced the death is not believed to be suspicious.
A spokeswoman for Suffolk police said: “A file will now be prepared for the coroner and an inquest will be opened in due course.”
