A FIRE crew has rescued a two-year-old child locked in a car in a supermarket car park.
FIREFIGHTERS have freed a child who was spotted locked in a car with the engine running.
The toddler, aged two, was in a car parked in Fordham Road Tesco’s, in Newmarket, just before 2pm today.
A spokesman from the fire service said the child was not in distress and a crew from Newmarket performed a rescue shortly after 2pm.
