Two men are due before magistrates today after police discovered a Suffolk cannabis factory.

Indrit Beshiri and Ndriqim Teta, both 26 and of no fixed abode, were charged with production of cannabis and abstracting electricity.

It follows a raid on a property in Kirkley Run, Lowestoft, when Suffolk Constabulary’s specialist drugs team found 162 cannabis plants growing across three rooms. The East Scorpion team officers also found electricity was being abstracted.

The two men were arrested on Wednesday and taken to Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre for questioning.

They were remanded in custody and are due to appear at Norwich Magistrates’ Court today.
