Two people have been arrested in connection with a twenty-five burglaries from schools.
Over £50,000 worth of laptops and computer equipment was stolen in the incidents which resulted in police carrying out a pre-planned operation in the Clacton area on Sunday, October 27.
Primary and secondary schools were targeted over a period lasting from January 2012 to April this year.
The men both in their 20s, were arrested at their homes on suspicion of conspiring to burgle.
After they were interviewed by detectives at a police station in north Essex they were bailed until December 16.
