COMMUTERS face a wet and windy start to the day but there are no major delays on the region’s road or rail networks.
As the day progresses the rain will become persistent and heavy for a time and gales may develop but despite the wind and rain, temperatures will gradually rise to about 10C.
There are signalling problems on the main rail line affecting services in and out of Liverpool Street and there have been some cancellations this morning.
Train services running through Gidea Park station may be cancelled or delayed by up to 30 minutes at short notice.
