Firefighters and paramedics were called to a road in Beccles on Saturday afternoon after a car collided with a tree.
The vehicle was found off the road on the A146 at about 3.40pm and one person was trapped inside.
Crews from Beccles, Bungay and a rescue pump from Lowestoft were sent to the scene.
Firefighters used hydraulic cutting equipment to release the occupant of the car, who was then left in the care of the ambulance service.
The crews were back at their bases by 5.05pm.
