FIRE crews in east Suffolk were called to two stubble blazes on Saturday afternoon.
Shortly after 1pm there was a fire in a combine harvester and stubble in a field at Parham, near Framlingham, which was put out by crews from Framlingham and Woodbridge in less than an hour.
Woodbridge’s fire crew was then called to a second fire in a field at Sutton where they were joined by their colleagues from Orford to put out a fire in stubble and a tractor in the field.
