FIREFIGHTERS were called to help free a person trapped in a wheelchair inside their car in Woodbridge.
A crew from the town were called just before 5.45pm to Seckford Street, where a person described as “elderly” was trapped inside their car.
It took firefighters a few minutes to release them safely, and they returned to the station just after 6pm.
Earlier, a fire crew from Haverhill were called to the town’s High Street to release a child locked in a car.
The call came in just before 4.45pm and firefighters were able to quickly let the child out, returning to base shortly afterwards.
