Suffolk firefighters have been called to assist with an accident on the A14, which is said to be causing delays in Cambridgeshire this evening.

Two crews from Newmarket joined firefighters from Cambridge and Burwell after reports of an accident in the westbound carriageway between junctions for the A142, Fordham Road, and A1303.

The accident is reported to have happened shortly after 7pm, and left one of three lanes closed to traffic.

It has not been reported whether anyone has been injured.
