FIREFIGHTERS in Suffolk are currently at the scene of a fire involving about 75 tonnes of straw and wood waste.
One crew from Framlingham was mobilised to the incident in Apsey Green, near Framlingham, at about 5pm on Thursday.
An extra crew was requested when the firefighters arrived at the scene due to the scale of the fire, which is close to a wind generator.
The police have also been contacted to close the road because of high winds.
Efforts to extinguish the blaze were ongoing by 8.38pm.
