More flood warnings have been issued across England today than ever before - but there is currently no threat of flooding in Suffolk.
The Environment Agency enforced 594 flood warnings across the country in the wake of Storm Dennis - the most ever in a single day - with four advising of most serious warning, where there is danger to life.
However, despite the widespread warnings, East Anglia escaped largely unscathed with not a single warning for Suffolk.
The winds died down by around 9am, but heavy rain persisted throughout the day leaving large pools of surface water on the county's roads.
There has however, been flooding during the past week with coastal areas suffering from the combined effects of high tides and strong winds.
Felixstowe saw the third highest tide since 1953 last week due to the blustery conditions.
