COMMUTERS travelling back from London this evening are being faced with delays because of emergency engineering works.
Work is currently taking place between Gidea Park and Harold Wood, forcing some lines to be closed.
A spokesman for Greater Anglia has said train services running between London Liverpool Street and Ipswich may be delayed at short notice because of the works.
The spokesman added the disruption is expected to continue until 6am on Friday.
