Yet more rain is expected to hit Suffolk and north Essex today.
Further bands of of rain coming in from the west will result in persistent wet conditions with the weather over the next few days being described by forecasters at Weatherquest as “changeable and windy”.
Phil Garner at Weatherquest said there was little chance of any snow today however with temperatures dipping overnight it was possible there would be some sleet.
Over the weekend heavy rain saw flooding in parts of West Suffolk.
