A man was taken to hospital with neck pain following a crash near Ipswich town centre today.
The collision involving a Ford Transit van and a Vauxhall Zafira car happened around 11.30am in St Margaret’s Green, just outside Piper’s Court.
An ambulance crew was rushed to the scene and treated a man for neck pain.
The motorist was taken to Ipswich Hospital for further care.
Three fire crews – one from Ipswich East and two from Ipswich Princes Street – also attended due to fears a driver may be trapped in a vehicle, but no-one was believed to have been rescued.
The road was clear by 2pm.
