Motorists are facing delays on the A12 this afternoon after a car broke down and needed recovery.
Suffolk police received reports of a stationary vehicle in the southbound carriageway near Stratford St Andrew, south of Saxmundham, at around 4.15pm.
A police spokesman said a recover team arrived to remove the vehicle from the road at around 4.50pm.
However, delays were still reported to be affecting motorists at 5.30pm.
The AA traffic website reported the incident as a “stalled vehicle” near Tinker Brook, which had left the road partially blocked and traffic “very slow”.
