Police in Suffolk have highlighted the importance of stop and search after seizing a bag filled with weapons, including several knives, a gun and a bat embedded with nails.
Officers arrested a man who is alleged to have been found with the bag in Bury St Edmunds on Saturday afternoon.
Norfolk and Suffolk Roads Policing Unit tweeted pictures of the seized weapons, saying: “This image shows the importance of effective #StopSearch.
“These weapons have been taken off the street.”
The tweet also thanked colleagues at Bury St Edmunds police.
