A review will be carried out this spring into one of the county’s key decision making groups which allocates hundreds of thousands of pounds in Suffolk.
The Suffolk Public Sector Leaders comprises leaders of all of Suffolk’s councils and other public figures such as Police and Crime Commissioner Tim Passmore, who make key decisions and approve funding on projects every six-eight weeks.
Leaders will be providing feedback on how the project has gone so far and areas where improvement can be made, before findings are collated and brought back at its May meeting.
Speaking during Friday’s gathering, leaders said there was positive work already going on, and recognised that it was now in a position with “substantial funds of money to allocate”.
Meeting chairman Jennie Jenkins said there were differences of opinions sometimes but “we are all here for the good of Suffolk.”
