Umbrellas and hoods will be a must to deal with this morning’s light rain and drizzle.
The sky will be overcast across the county and light showers will turn into heavier rain as the day progresses.
However, the elusive season of spring will be making an appearance this afternoon and conditions should be dry and sunny, the Met Office reported.
The sky will remain clear for the rest of the day but there will be a slight wind this evening which will lead to temperatures falling and an overnight frost developing.
Climes will reach a maximum of 8�C and fall to -3 �C tonight.
