Suffolk awoke to a shroud of fog this morning – but forecasters expect it to soon shift eastwards and allow some sunshine in.
Sunny spells will develop throughout the morning, but could be followed by some heavy and thundery showers this afternoon. At the same time, it will feel very warm, with temperatures reaching up to 24C inland.
Thundery showers should die out this evening, according to the Met Office, but further showery rain is likely at times overnight.
