While many of us have started to notice Christmas novelties in shops across the region, summer looks to be making a brief comeback in the East.
Despite another chilly start to the day, Suffolk and north Essex are likely to see temperatures soar to over 20C this afternoon.
According to forecasters at Weatherquest: “A few patches of mist and low cloud will quickly clear this morning to leave a fine and dry day with good spells of sunshine.”
This will bring highs of 20 to 23C – pleasantly warm for late September.
The Met Office is also predicting “a lot of sunshine” in the South East – with temperatures “even higher than in the last couple of days”.
