A TEENAGER is due in court today following a siege in Ipswich.
Lemar Boyden, 18, of Nacton Road, has been charged with threatening behaviour, three counts of criminal damage, and two counts of assaulting police officers.
He has been remanded in custody until his appearance at South East Suffolk Magistrates' Court this morning.
Up to 15 houses were evacuated in Nacton Road following the siege drama as armed police, a force helicopter and two riot vans surrounded the area.
Crowds of onlookers gathered to watch the three-hour spectacle, which was finally over at 1am yesterday.
