A 13-YEAR-old boy is in a serious condition in hospital after suffering head injuries in a road accident today.
A 13-YEAR-old boy is in a serious condition in hospital after suffering head injuries in a road accident today.
The youngster was cycling in Bourne Road in Colchester when he was involved in a collision with a car at around 4.50pm.
He was taken to Colchester General Hospital by ambulance with life threatening injuries, police said.
The road was closed immediately after the accident while emergency services tended to the boy.
