POLICE in Essex are today searching for a teenager who was swept away by the River Thames.
POLICE in Essex are today searching for a teenager who was swept away by the River Thames.
The 18-year-old man was swimming in the river at Grays with his friends when he was caught by a strong current and pulled under the water at about 6pm last night.
Search and rescue teams are continuing to hunt for him today.
