Young people who have completed apprenticeships or work-based courses have been recognised for their achievements.
A total of 41 Career Track learners were given certificates by Tendring District Council (TDC) chairman Val Guglielmi at a special event at Clacton Town Hall.
The scheme is funded through Colchester Institute, with many employed by TDC.
Mrs Guglielmi said: “I started out on a similar sort of scheme myself and it stood me in good stead over the years.”
