So called ‘reactive’ drainage works are taking place along The Street in Nacton, closing the road until midnight tonight.
The closure has led to a diversion with drivers being advised by Suffolk Highways to follow the A1156, Felixstowe Road, Nacton Road and Ipswich Road.
It is not clear what has caused the drainage issues as of yet.
